changing vista boot loader

changing Vista boot loader

Since Vista does not use boot.ini is there any way to add the switch /usepmtimer to Vista without removing the Vista boot loader and using XPs boot.ini file?

Such changes are done using BCDedit. See http://www.microsoft.com/technet/windowsvista/library/85cd5efe-c349-427c-b035-c2719d4af778.mspx for a starting point.
